About Six Star Homes
Moosepath LLC is a general contractor (#34198) and DEC-certified septic installer currently developing Pico and Panda subdivisions. We only build super-insulated structures. The company hires other licensed professionals such as JPC Construction (Jordan Craft-master builder) to build code-compliant houses. Foundations are engineered and the buildings inspected by a licensed inspector during construction. Licensed electricians and plumbers perform the mechanical work.
We specialize in building modestly sized, super-insulated homes.
What's a six star rating?
A six star energy rating is the highest energy rating a home can have using AHFC's AkWarm™ Energy Rating System. Newly constructed 6 Star homes may receive a $10,000 rebate. To learn more, go to Alaska Building Energy Efficiency Standard (BEES), or contact the AHFC Research Information Center.
Home buyers must apply for the rebate after purchase, and the program is subject to funding availability.
